Tiemonium methylsulfate is a methylsulfate salt of tiemonium. It is a muscarinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist. It functions primarily as a spasmolytic agent.
It is recommended for the treatment of pain associated with gastrointestinal, biliary, urinary, and gynaecological conditions, including but not limited to gastroenteritis (stomach flu), diarrhoea, dysentery, biliary colic, enterocolitis, cholecystitis, colonopathies, mild cystitis, and spasmodic dysmenorrhoea.
